Amazing Tales of Andi

Andy writes: At noon on Saturday 11 January 2020, Seattle fans are having a low-key memorial for Andi Shechter. I scanned a few fanzines and fanzine articles by and about her, and here is Amazing Tales of Andi, a one-shot birthday surprise fanzine that Stu Shiffman did for Andi's birthday in 1992.

Andy writes: Over my career in fandom, fanzines composed for publications in various apas have made up a large portion of my fan activity. In recent years, I have expanded my apa-zines with material reprinted from fanzines of the past, a time-honored tradition within fanzine fandom. I hope that sharing CAPTAIN FLASHBACK and other apazines on eFanzines will help those writers reach a new audience, or at least amuse a familiar one.

The Kong Papers
(supplement to CF6, a 1969 collaboration
between William Rotsler and Harlan Ellison)

Andy writes: My work in collaboration with other editors has been on eFanzines for more than a decade as of 2017, yet I have previously failed to take full advantage of it as a platform for my own zines. To redress that, find here my current personal SF fanzine FLAG, as well as archival versions of other titles that may provide some diversion. Your comments are always welcome, and it is never “too late” to reply.
